Q: How many kg will i lose if i run 1-2km everyday?
i am a 14 year old girl around 158cm and 52 kg
i eat very healthy too and only have takeaway like once every 3 months
i eat a lot of fruit and vegies too :)
Best answer chosen by asker:If you ran 1.5 km every day, you would lose about .5 kg more every 2 months than if you weren’t running. It sounds like a pretty healthy lifestyle you’ve got, which is great, especially for someone your age. I’d encourage you to keep pushing yourself, and try to increase your running distance if you feel comfortable doing so. Good luck!
other answers: I can honestly tell you that you don’t need to lose weight
Ok anyway, I started running not long ago. Hahaha really not long ago - tuesday. Didn’t run yesterday, ran today. I only managed to run 2km today because i just woke up, got physics paper one tmrw and because i’m really lazy and didn’t eat dinner (plus not intending to today). Today i saw this girl quite pretty, quite slim, running haha but i overtook her twice (cus she tie shoe lace i quickly boost) we over took each other twice so it was fair. i want to run and transform into her.
That’s besides the point. I think 2km is really stupid because 2km means i ran for roughly less than 20 minutes. i change get ready already take 10 minutes so 20 minutes is really diseconomies of scale. then i wanted to know how much i’d lose if i were to be this lazy (or hardworking!), like 2km everytime i run so i searched. wahlau look at the answer, if i run 1.5km everyday, for every two months (that’s long ok, two months is twice my june holidays) i’d lose 0.5kg more? i force myself to pee also can lose 0.5kg! what i’m trying to say is just, it’s not fair, run so much for two months, everyday (must stress) only can lose 0.5? then who’d want to run? how am i going to lose weight at this rate. irritating. and if i were to look at the other answers like “i can honestly tell you that you don’t need to lose weight” then everybody in the world would stop being so discouraged (and gain a little more weight).
ok i’m just not very happy that running doesn’t give my weight justice. if there were to be a race, got time limit, like ok 100m in 15s (i don’t know the good timing), if reach the target then can forever be skinny, i confirm join. worse, run already muscle ache. if equilibrium weight is made up of metabolism rate + food intake, then i can only conclude that, don’t eat so much. it’s that simple. no, it’s not that simple haha, food hard to resist.
i am just fighting an internal war with myself.

pretty = skinny.
